Chuck is Back!

After a long wait, the third season of Chuck has premiered last January 10. Chuck is a comedy series about a computer geek turned spy. Chuck Bartowkski (Zachary Levi) is just a regular computer expert working in a local Buy more. His world was turned upside down when his former Stanford University roommate, Bryce Larkin, forwarded an email containing vital Government secrets which is referred to as the intersect.

In order to protect and retrieve the secrets, the NSA and CIA  has sent Major John Casey (Adam Baldwin) and Agent Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski) respectively. In the course of the series, Chuck finds himself torn with his duties for his country and his relationship with his Family and friends. 

Before Season 2 of the series ended with Chuck successfully removed the intersect from his brain with the help of his father. Everything was set to go back to normal for Chuck until a series of event has transpired causing him to voluntary implant intersect to his brain again.It seems that the intersect is a better version equipped with knowledge that would help him become a better spy.

The third season begins at Praque government training facility. Chuck is still learning to maximize the intersect and is try to learn to flash on his. Flash is the term use in the series where Chuck accesses information from the intersect triggered by what he sees or hears.The government has grown impatient and has deemed him not fit to be a spy. And has fired him leaving him jobless and a total wreck. The events on season 3 begins six months after the new intersect has been implanted into Chuck's brain. Sarah wanted a normal life and was willing to give up everything so that they may run away from the government. Chuck then has declined Sarah's offer and has caused great damage to their relationship.Chuck wanted to more with his life that is why he choose to be a Spy rather than being with the girl of his dreams.

By the end of the episode, Chuck has proven to be valuable again to government and Operation Bartowski is back again. Eli and Devon would be moving to a different apartment but it is still within the compound and Morgan might move in with Chuck. Morgan by the way is Chuck's best friend. By the end of season 2, he quit the Buy more to become a chef and would start living with Anna. During the first episode, Morgan has failed in his dreams, Anna left him and he was asked to returned working in Buy More after Chuck has asked Casey for a favor.

The season premier is not as much as I have hoped for. I always thought that by the third season, it would be a different Chuck Bartowski. But then again what would Chuck be if he turns to a cold-blooded spy. I think that the comedy is what makes the series really great. Chuck fans would have to wait for the story to unfold.
