Person of Interest Season 3 Episode 10: Devil's Share
A grief stricken Reese hunts down Officer Simmons for killing his friend Joss Carter. Reese himself was shot and is badly injured. On the Manhunt as well, Shaw is also trying to track Simmons by herself. Worried about Reese who is badly injured and Shaw going on a savage manhunt as well, Finch talks to Fusco for help in tracking down both Reese and Shaw before they end up hurting more people and Reese ending up dead.
Finch was left with no choice but to ask the help of Root to find Reese. Reese was going after Alonzo Quinn to find out about Simmons’ exit strategy. He raided a building full of U.S. Marshall agents and was able to find Quinn. At first Quinn was reluctant to help Reese but after learning that Reese plans to kill him whether he divulge Simmons’ location or not he eventually gave him the location where Simmons could be found. Reese was about to kill Quinn and despite Finch’s statement he went on and pulled the trigger. Fortunately for Quinn, Reese is out of Bullets.
Finch, Shaw and Root took Reese back to Finch’s hideout and attended to his wounds while Fusco stayed behind for the FBI to arrive to turn over Quinn. Fusco learns of the Simmons’ location and takes him down. He surrendered Simmons to the Police and then he was treated for his wounds.
This is a very emotional episode. Even Shaw who is reluctant to let her feeling cloud her decision is full of anger and was as out of control as Reese. Kudos to Jim Caviezel. He played his role masterfully. The episode really gave the death of Joss Carter meaning. The question now is would Reese still be the same calm badass as he usually was. Or would he be filled with hate now that Carter is gone. Carter was his moral compass in a way. Would he be more like Shaw now?

How I met your mother Season 9 Episode 11: Bedtime Stories
Marshall and Marvin have taken the bus after dropping off Daphne in the last episode. Marshall has to rhymes while telling the story in order to make Marvin sleep. He first tells the the story Ted while he was still a professor. A new physics teacher, Lisa, introduced herself and was asking Ted pointers on how to teach. She invited him to dinner which Ted initially thought was a date. Lisa was giving mixed signal which confused Ted. They then started thanking about a New York Yankee Player that Lisa dated. She said that she dated Derek Jeter, but when she showed Ted his photo, it is revealed that Barney was pretending to be a Yankee player.
The next story involve Robin. After breaking up with one of her exes, Robin was depressed and was eating sweets in one of the bakery in New York. She ran into one of her exes Simon Tremblay (James Van Deer Beek). He has put his act together and seems to be successful. He told Robin that e is getting married to Louise Marsh (the girl why Simon broke up with Robin). Robin got angry and stole Simon's wedding cake. Ted learned what Robin did and called Lily for help. By the time Lily arrived half the cake was already eaten. Instead of Lily telling her that what she did was wrong, she encourages her to finish eating the whole cake. Robin finished the cake and washed it down with beer.
The next story inolves Barney. Apparently Barney is part of a high Council of Players. According to some of the council members, Barney broke their agreement and hooked up with a girl who resides out of his territory. The council demanded Lily and Robin as payment for his actions. Barney agreed and had everyone drink champagne. Barney poisoned the drink and killed everyone.
Before the episode ended, the bus got a flat tire. While waiting Marshall and the other passengers watched a fireworks display. Future Ted said that the fireworks would Marvin's first memory. Marshall was told that the Farhampton Inn is just 5 miles away. Marshall believes that he could walk to the Inn. Future Ted stated that Marshall's decision would be a big mistake.
The episode was funny but it seems like a filler episode. With a few episodes left in the series, I wonder if it would be enough to give How I met your mother a proper ending. I have a question though. While Marshall was with Daphne, the Rhyming bedtime story was not an issue. In fact it never came up. I hope the next episode would feature more of the present day events rather than flashback

The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 7: Dead Weight
In the last episode, Brian (a.k.a the governor) is running for their lives from a horde a biters. He and Meghan fell in a pit filled with Zombies. He was able to killed the zombies and saved Meghan. The governor's former right hand Martinez was standing over the pit and help them get out of it. Martinez then told him that he is now in charge of the group.
It didn't take long before Brian plotted his rise to power. First he killed Martinez while they were having a friendly game of golf. But right after, Pete and his brother Mitch took leadership until they camp could decide on how to make a proper voting process.
He then visited Pete in his trailer and stab him in the Torso. Brian eventually killed him by strangulation. He then he went to Pete's trailer and convinced him to take his side. He might have figured out that Pete would be useful to him since Pete knows how to operate a tank which they currently have in their camp.
Later a biter breached their camp almost killing Meghan. The governor then started thinking and visited the lake where he dumped Pete's body. A zombiefied Pete is seen with his feet chained leaving him stuck in the water.
A few minutes before the episode ended, the governor is seen near the prison looking at Carl and Rick. He considered shooting them but decided not to. He then started walking again and saw Michonne and Hershel. The episode ended with the Governor pointing a gun at them ready to shoot.
After two episodes of no Rick and the gang, the two camps would collide the next episode. The last two episode was mostly character build up for the new cast. Brian or the the Governor does seem to be a change man like we were led to believe in the last episode. He still craves for power and still has a vendetta against Michonne. The preview of the next episode reveals that the Governor would try to convince the camp in taking the Prisons. It seems like he would be successful since the tank is seen just outside the fence.
Luck is not on Rick's side Just barely surviving the disease that claimed number of lives in the Prison, they would have to face another treat when the Governor arrives.
What are your thoughts about "Dead Weight"?
Will the Megafight between Pacquiao and Mayweather happen?
Days after the Brandon Rios and Manny Pacquiao bout, news has resurfaced about the possible fight against Pacquiao and Mayweather. Negotiations has been ongoing between both camps but have but hurdle with demands ranging from blood test to who would get the bigger payout.
Floyd Mayweather Sr., the father and trainer of Floyd was impressed with Pacquiao's performance against Rios but believes that Pacquiao should better either Robert Guerrero or Saul Canelo Alvarez in an impressive win. The two fighters were the last two opponents that Floyd fight and won over. Only then would Pacquiao get the chance to fight his son. If that were only true. I mean if Pacquiao between any of the two that Floyd Sr. mentioned, would the fight really happen? I mean can he really convinced his son to fight then?
They should get a move on with all the negotiations. Pacquiao is turning 35 in a few days and Floyd would turn 37 on February 24 next year. Time is running out on both boxers. If they do meet five years from now would it still be exciting?
Both camps has been throwing words at each other. I think boxing fans deserve seeing both of them throwing punches against each other and I hope it happens soon.

How I met your mother season 9 recap
Warning Spoiler alert
So far the mother has met Lily on the train and Barney in one of his challenges. The mother has set Barney straight and has made him realize that he wants to be with Robin for the rest of his life. There future scene with Ted and the mother in this season. So far Ted is seen with the mother in the Farhampton bar a year after the wedding and Ted proposing to her in the lighthouse. In my opinion this are great scene that writers have come up with.
We still have to see how Ted would meet the mother. So far all the events would lead to that moment but there are a lot of detours before getting there. I don’t mind this detours but I wonder if the remaining episodes would be enough to end the series satisfying the fans. I personally find the season great so far.
Bringing in Daphne as Marshall’s driving companion is a great part of the story. She has brought a lot of laughs to the story. But will we see her again after the 10th episode? I do hope so. As Marshall is about to reach Farhampton, the evitable fight between Marshall and Lily is about to begin. For those who haven’t seen the last ten episodes, Marshall just recently told Lily about his decision to take the Judge position without telling Lily first. This would spoil their plans to move to Rome for a year. We would have to see who would sacrifice their dream.
Zabka has been great so far but I think I had enough of him. So far the season has been focusing too much time on the minor characters. That also goes with James and Loretta.
I would love to see that the mother met Ted before the season finale. As we all know that Ted would meet her in the Farhampton station with the iconic yellow umbrella and the first time he sees her is when she is playing at the reception. I think they should allot more than one episode of them getting to know each other. It’s been nine seasons. The wait is almost over. Will How I met your mother fans be given a fitting end to a great series or are we waiting for a big disappointment? What are your thoughts?
Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) sells goods to typhoon survivors
Two weeks after Typhoon Yolanda (international name Haiyan) hit Tacloban, the social media has been flooding with disturbing news on how the Philippine government has been handling the rescue operations and dispersement of relief goods. I personally don't believe everything that I hear on the news. But some stories has been aired on TV network GMA, ABS-CBN and even CNN.
This is one news I saw in ireport.cnn.com that has bothered me. the Department of trade and industry (DTI) is selling basic goods. The Diskwento Caravan, as DTI calls it, is selling bread, coffee, milk and processed meat with discount ranging from 10% to 30% from the original price.
Here is my question. Where did all the donations from foreign countries go? Total donations from foreign country has totalled to 200 million US dollars. Are you telling me that all the money is .now all gone? This is disturbing news. I also heard in the news ABS CBN was airing that the government prohibited donors from giving milk to survivors since the Department of Health (DOH) is promoting breast milk. WTF?! Pardon my language but this news is very disgusting. And if DOH is promoting breast milk, why is DTI selling milk?

How I met your mother Season 9 Episode 10: Mom and Dad
Ted informs Lily what happen and tells her that Detective Mosby is going to investigate who is responsible for the act. Lily immediately replies that Detective Mosby sucks and that he still haven’t solved the Pineapple incident. He has three suspects: Zabka, the Bellhop and Robin’s cousin Claude. Ted suspected that Zabka was responsible because he wants to reclaim the best man role. Ted suspected that the bellhop ruined the photo because he complained about him. But bellhop didn’t know that he was being complained until Ted has informed him. Ted deduced that Claude is a huge Montreal Canadiens fan and hates the Gretsky and the Edmonton Oilers. After seeing ink on his hand he thought that Claude is guilty of the inking the photo. Claude’s Alibi did not help. According to him he was helping an Elderly when the hand glider that he was riding crash in to the beach and hit a squid. The ink squirted as he was about to help the Elderly. Ridiculous as his alibi may seem, it is true. There was indeed a giant squid in the beach. In the end Zabka was caught and he confessed that he did it to become Barney’s best man again. He apologizes to Ted and instead Ted took the blame for the photo.
Daphne and Marshall are still on their road trip and trying to beat the time to reach Daphne’s daughter Model UN speech. They eventually did get there. The speech started like any speech a kid would write until she said that “Oil is the Future! Don’t listen to those gutless environmental sissies. Drill Baby Drill!” Daphne was so proud. Marshall was shocking having listened to a kid denounce environmentalism. He immediately bids farewell to Daphne and left for Farhampton.
Barney is playing Cupid and trying to reunite her mom Loreta with her dad Jerome (John Lithgow). Unfortunately James has the same plans as well. Barney came up with a plan to get rid of Jerome’s wife with the help of Ranjit. He hijacked the elevator while Jerome and Loreta and pours water on them hoping that they disrobe. James’ dad Sam while be Barney and Robin’s officiating minister for their wedding. Barney and James soon learned that Sam and Loreta are already hooking up but were not told about it. Robin explained to Barney that James needs Sam and Loreta to be together more than Barney because of James’ recent break up. Eventually Barney gives his blessing and trapped Sam and Loreta inside. Unfortunately James was with his parents when they started making out.
It seems like Marshall will be with the gang next episode since it wouldn’t be much of a road trip without Daphne.I do hope that Daphne returns because she was great! I guess we have to brace ourselves for the Marshall-Lily fight. It is something that we have been waiting for a while now. With only a few episodes left with still have to learn about the truth about the Pineapple incident. Also there is the final slap from Marshall that we still haven’t seen. We still have to see how the mother will met Robin and Marshall. That is if they have met before the wedding. In the episode Barney drop the Glen Mckenna that he and James were about to drink. That’s Mckenna number 2. In episode three of this season, Ted dropped a Mckenna when Barney told him about seeing him with Robin trying to look for the locket. SO is that the last Mckenna or would there be more?
More mother please! But it seems we won’t see her in the next episode based on the preview. What do you think of Mom and Dad?

After a talk with Daphne where she pointed out that he won’t get any respect until he takes charge, he left Clint on side of the road to meditate. When Daphne asked Marshall if he is really going to leave Clint behind, he snapped due to Daphne’s decision to tell Lily about the Judgeship. He then put on his and Ted’s favorite road trip music, “I’m gonna be (500 Miles)”. Daphne could not make any objections.

How I met your Dad on the works
I have been a fan of the show since it first air. I love the show and how it has been written. But could I invest my time to this spinoff? Who knows how much Bays and Thomas have left for this new show. I wouldn’t mind giving it a try. I just hope that they don’t make the same mistake of what Scrubs did. If they are going to make a spinoff, it should be totally unrelated. In Scrubs they tried start the spinoff series where they left off with the original series. I personally had a hard time adjusting to the idea of the main character being changed to a new actor. That was the flaw in my opinion. I hope this would not be the case for How I met your dad. What are your thoughts?

How I met your mother Season 9 Episode 6: Knight Vision
Friday 9 PM. 45 hours before the wedding
Robin and Barney are trying to set Ted up with three of their friends: Sophia, Cassie and Grace. Barney tells Ted that it is an important decision and choosing wrong would lead to a miserable weekend. Barney compares it to Indiana Jones’ decision when trying to find the Holy Grail on the movie Indiana Jones and the last crusade.
Ted chooses Cassie. Immediately Ted sees a vision of a knight in the Indiana Jones movie telling him that he has chosen poorly. Little that Ted knows, Cassie has just broken up with his ex-boyfriend Wesley. Soon she learns that she is getting fired from work. She asked if she got meet with her students to say goodbye but was informed that her class hates her. Cassie then started to get depressed.
Every decision Ted made was mistake and every time he makes them immediately after the knight appears and tells him that he did not make poor decisions. Starting with place where Ted plans to dish Cassie in. Ted plans to dump Cassie in the dining area. Apparently Cassie’s parents were there which make the situation more awkward for Ted.
Meanwhile Lily meets Reverend Lowell and tells him how she met Marshall. Lowell got angry and left Lily. She later learns that Robin and Barney used the details of their first meeting and passed it as their own. Lowell eventually learns that truth and refused to marry them. Barney and Robin told him the truth but it was too much for the Reverend to handle. Later they realize that the reverend died in his chair.
Ted and Cassie meet Wesley on their way to their room to make out. Wesley is currently with Sophia, one of the single ladies that Robin and Barney are trying to hook him up with. With an attempt to get rid of Cassie, Ted told Sophia that they should leave Cassie and Wesley to talk. Wesley protested and Cassie and Ted went to the room.
Back in the room Ted and Cassie were trying to make out. Ted realized that Cassie was too much of wreck and the chance of them making out is slim. Cassie then let Ted off the hook. Back in the Bar Grace arrives. Since everyone in the wedding is thinks that Cassie and Ted is a couple, Ted has forced Grace to the bar and has bought drinks before Grace talks to anyone. Barney then informs Ted that the Reverend has passed away. Ted then proposed a toast in memory of the reverend which the Knight tried to stop. Ted went through the toast but learned that Cassie is the Reverend’s niece. Ted was forced to comfort her in front of all the people throwing his chance of hook up away with Grace.
Marshall is still on the road trip. Daphne plans to help him by practicing what to say to Lily. Daphne learns that Marshall took the job before telling Lily. Out of anger, she confess to Marshall that she texted her about the judgeship. The episode ended with Lily calling Marshall on the phone.
This is the best episode of the season so far. The knight was great and really funny. This event leads again on how the mother meets Ted. If Ted went with either Grace or Sophia, she might have not met the mother. What are your thoughts?

How I met your mother Season 9 Episode 5: The Poker Game
Friday 6 PM. 48 hours before the wedding
In the poker table, Ranjit, Barney, Ted, Billy Zabka, Tim Gunn, James and Marshpillow were playing. At the last stages of the game Robin and James were left. Robin irritated by James’ negative comments about marriage asked him wager to his wedding ring. Robin won but later has brought Loretta to ask Barney to tell Robin to return the Ring. Barney was put in a difficult position on choosing between his mother and Barney over Robin. Robin and Loretta then played poker and Robin eventually wins Loretta’s favorite blouse.
Meanwhile Ted informs Lily that he plans to give Robin and Barney three wedding gifts. This ticked Lily off since Ted did not even get them a wedding present. Marshall has tried several times to send Ted the message that he did not get them a gift. At the same time Ted was also trying to send a message to Lily and Marshall about not receiving a thank you note. Apparently their friend Stuart has used Ted’s wedding present and passed it as his own wedding gift. Lily confronts Stuart and he confessed. He asked Lily not to tell his wife Claudia and has
claimed that the wedding gift has changed the course of their marriage positively.
As Marshall was passing Chicago, Ted has asked Grazzola, Ted and Marshall’s favorite pizza place that closed down due to sanitary reason but is now back in business, to deliver a pizza while they are passing Chicago. This is way to reconcile with Marshall.
In the end she chose Robin and wanted to severe his ties with Loretta and James. He also said that it was all Robin’s Idea. Robin wanted to apologize to Loretta by returning the blouse. Loretta did not take it back and told Robin that it isn’t over yet.
Alright marshpillow again? Marshpillow sucks! Good thing that is the end of it. The thing between Robin and Loretta is far from over. We expect them to clash in future episodes. Bringing in Grazzola is good touch to story. If you watch the previous season, Grazzola is the one place they love even though the food is not safe to eat. Only Ted and Marshall have eaten it so far. Will everyone in the gang eventually have a taste of the Grazzola pizza? It would be great if that would happen but it seems that is the end of it. What are your thoughts about the poker game?
How I met your mother Season 9 Episode 4: The Broken Code
Friday 3 PM. 51 hours before the wedding
Barney confronts Ted about the incident in the Park with Robin. Apparently Barney was there in the Park and saw Ted holding Robin’s hand. Ted has explained that he was just comforting Robin which Barney seems to just to accept as if nothing happened.
Barney then asked Ted to do several request as part of his best man duties starting off with handwriting the table cards as Barney has explained that he left them. After finishing the task Barney asked him to do so modifications to the table cards in which Ted immediately agrees. Barney then asked Ted to move to the basement to make rooms for their relatives. Ted’s is forced to stay there along with the Pigeons that they have for the wedding.
Ted eventually learned that the Poker game has started with Ranjit, Billy Zabka and Tim Gunn (who guest in previous season as Barney’s personal tailor). Ted realizes that Barney is still upset with him because of the incident. William Zabka was tasked to be the Best Man. They argued and Barney has said that Ted has broken the Bro Code. Ted insisted that he hasn’t. To decide whether Ted has broken the bro code they seek the help of Marshall. Lily has created a Marshpillow and has attached a tablet to its head. They are talking to him via Video chat. Marshall has asked Ted and Barney to recreate the events by asking them to hold hands. Ted finally admitted that he still has feelings for Robin but has promised that he won’t do anything to ruin their wedding. Barney has truly accepted Ted’s apologies and went to the back to the poker game. Barney tells Zabka that Ted will be his best man again in which Zabka obviously did not like.
Although Barney and Ted are back as best buddies, it does not seem that this is the end of Ted’s feeling for Robin. There is still the locket and from the previous episode we learned that Ted is the Wild card in the Wedding. For me Marshpillow is getting too old. Please don’t bring it back again. Marshall is still driving to Farhampton. I can’t wait for the whole gang to be all together again. Zabka will definitely get his revenge on Ted. Guess we will have to see what he does. What are your thoughts for the Broken code?
