The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 8: Too far gone

The midseason finale of the Walking dead is what fans are expecting. The episode was shocking and pretty disturbing.
In the last episode, Brian or the Governor is pointing a gun at Michonne and Hershel. We all thought he would shoot them but had other things in mind. Instead he captured them with the intention of using them as bargaining chip in exchange for the Prison. The Governor rallies up his people and tells them they could take the prisons if they would want it. He explained his plan using his captives in exchange for the prison. The governor was calm even for him when he was talking to Hershel and Michonne.
The Governor used the tank to fire a shot at prison as a doorbell to grab Rick and the group’s attention. Rick was reluctant to conduct the negotiations on behalf of his group. Rick tried convincing the Governor and the group that they could live together and for a moment I thought the governor would cease his siege and consider Rick’s term. But instead He used Michonne’s Katana to severe Hershel’s head. All hell broke lost and the fighting began.
Lilly and Meghan stayed in camp to avoid the fighting. Meghan was playing with Mud and even made a peanut butter sandwich for Brian. As she was playing, she dug up a sign which says Flash Flood prone area. A zombie literally rose up from the group and bit Meghan. Lilly brought the corpse of Meghan in the Prison. Brian just finished decapitating Hershel’s body when Lilly saw him. Brian took her body and put a bullet in her head. Brian then ordered his group to breach the prison and kill everyone.
They were successful with the breach and Rick’s group was fighting the Governor’s troops and the biters who entered the Prison. Tyreese was pinned down and was being shot at. He was surprisingly saved by Lizzie and Mika. The two kids who Carol taught survival skills.
Rick and the governor were fighting one on one. The governor got the upper hand and was about to strangle Rick to death when a Michonne stab him in the chest and left him to die. Lilly eventually came to Governor and pointed a gun at him. A shot was heard but that doesn’t mean that the governor is dead.
Eventually they were able to kill most of the governor’s men but had to give up the prison. Daryl used a grenade to disable the tank.  Later Mitch was pleading for his life as Daryl was pointing his crossbow at him. Daryl shot him anyway. After the commotion, Rick searches for Carl and Judith. Carl was safe but they found Judith’s crib filled with blood. Rick was devastated but it hit Carl harder. They left the prison immediately.
There were so many shocking events for midseason finale that I don’t know where to begin. Let’s start with Hershel. It’s a pity that he had to die after surviving the outbreak in the prison. Hershel is essential to the group as they are in grave need for a doctor. In the earlier episode Dr. Caleb Subramanian, the only real doctor in the group died because of the outbreak. Hershel’s importance is not only for his medical skills but he is among the few people that Rick listen’s to.
Meghan’s death was somehow expected. For some reason I didn’t think the writers would reward the governor what he truly wants for all the sins that he committed. Nevertheless her death comes as a surprise as well. Another surprising moment in the episode is how the Governor easily shot Meghan in front of her mother Lilly. Lizzie and Mika taking up guns is another surprise. We have seen Carol taught these kids how to survive but it was surprising how easily Lizzie pulled the trigger and killed Alisha and her companion.
I somehow expected Judith’s death. Based on Robert Kirkman’s graphic novel, she died and became a biter as well. I am glad they didn’t make a zombie version of Judith. That would be really disturbing.  Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) show tremendous talent in showing his grief after learning about Judith. But we have to give credit to Chandler Riggs (Carl) for his acting as well. He keeps getting better on what he is doing.
We have to wait and see what happens next and two months of waiting is way too long. Rick and the group are now on the run again. To make things worse they have been separated from each other. We saw how Rick got broken when his wife Lori died in the previous season. Will he go the same path again or would he become strong for Carl. Carl already broken and has lost some part of his humanity might be headed the same path as his father did.
Is Judith really dead or it is just a way for the writers to keep us guessing? Same thing goes with the governor. The shot could have been from someone else. What will happen to Lilly and Tara? Is that the end of the road for them? This season has been great so far and much better than the last season. The walking dead would return on Feb 9, 2014. What do you think of Too Far gone?

The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 7: Dead Weight

In the last episode, Brian (a.k.a the governor) is running for their lives from a horde a biters. He and Meghan fell in a pit filled with Zombies. He was able to killed the zombies and saved Meghan. The governor's former right hand Martinez was standing over the pit and help them get out of it. Martinez then told him that he is now in charge of the group.

It didn't take long before Brian plotted his rise to power. First he killed Martinez while they were having a friendly game of golf. But right after, Pete and his brother Mitch took leadership until they camp could decide on how to make a proper voting process.

He then visited Pete in his trailer and stab him in the Torso. Brian eventually killed him by strangulation. He then he went to Pete's trailer and convinced him to take his side. He might have figured out that Pete would be useful to him since Pete knows how to operate a tank which they currently have in their camp.

Later a biter breached their camp almost killing Meghan. The governor then started thinking and visited the lake where he dumped Pete's body. A zombiefied Pete is seen with his feet chained leaving him stuck in the water.

A few minutes before the episode ended, the governor is seen near the prison looking at Carl and Rick. He considered shooting them but decided not to. He then started walking again and saw Michonne and Hershel. The episode ended with the Governor pointing a gun at them ready to shoot.

After two episodes of no Rick and the gang, the two camps would collide the next episode. The last two episode was mostly character build up for the new cast. Brian or the the Governor does seem to be a change man like we were led to believe in the last episode. He still craves for power and still has a vendetta against Michonne. The preview of the next episode reveals that the Governor would try to convince the camp in taking the Prisons. It seems like he would be successful since the tank is seen just outside the fence.

Luck is not on Rick's side Just barely surviving the disease that claimed number of lives in the Prison, they would have to face another treat when the Governor arrives.

What are your thoughts about "Dead Weight"?

The Walking dead Season 3 Episode 9: The Suicide Kings

Following the events of the last episode of the Walking Dead titled “Made to Suffer”, Rick and his group were able to save Glenn and Maggie. But in the process, Oscar got killed while Daryl was captured by the people of Woodbury. To make things worst, Michonne took it upon herself to kill the Governor but was surprised to find his undead daughter locked inside a closet. It did not end well when the Governor caught Michonne in his house next to Penny. Michonne stabbed Penny which made the Governor furious and started to attack her. Glass were shattered from broken Aquarium filled him severed zombie head and there was a lot of punching, kicking and chocking during their brawl. In the end Michonne was able to pick up a piece of glass and stab the Governor taking out his right eye.

This episode started with the Governor pitting the Dixon brothers against each on other in a death match which would reward the winner freedom. Although I am not sure he would set Daryl free if he is the winner. Actually I don’t think he would allow Merle to leave either if he won. The match was interrupted by Rick and the Gang deploying smoke grenades and shooting at the crowd to distract the people of Woodbury which allowed the Dixon brothers free. As soon as they escaped they met with Glenn and Michonne waiting by the road. They were not happy to see Merle tagged along. Merle was not making his situation better throwing insults at the group. In the end Daryl decided to stick with Merle and left Rick’s group.
Back in the Prison, something is brewing as well. Allen and Ben are in agreement that it would be easy to take over the prison. Good thing Tyreese and Sasha would not allow it. Rick and the others were able to reach the prison before anything happens. As Tyreese and his group were pleading to Rick about staying in the prison, Rick saw his wife, Lori and had a mental breakdown which seems like he was refusing Tyreese’s group to stay.

Back in Woodbury, the Governor is also deal with some issues as well. The people were panicking and are ready to leave the community. Andrea was there to diffuse the situation and was able to convince the people to stay. However it is clear that the Governor is affected with Penny’s demise.

The episode was a bit slow paced in my opinion. Aside from the Dixon brothers’ rescue, there wasn’t much action and too much talking. This episode shows us that people are cracking up. From Rick to the governor, even Glenn is going through some of his issues as well. We still have to see what will happen to Carol as well. Based on the comics, Carol will let herself get bitten since he was depressed due to Tyreese and Michoone’s infidelity. By the way in the Comics, Tyreese and Carol would have a relationship and Michoone would be the third wheel. Whether or not this will happen in the show I guess we will have to see. Maybe instead of Tyreese, Carol would be depressed because of Daryl. In the comics as well, Tyreese would be killed by the Governor. I am not sure if this would happen not unless the Prison Arc would extend until the next season. I think they would have to establish that Tyreese would be part of the chain of command of Rick’s group.  There are lots of events that happened in the comics that has not come to past in the show. Like Rick’s hand getting cut-off. Although we had that we Merle I am not sure if that would still happen. Or maybe Merle would cut-off Rick’s arm as an eye for eye kind of thing. Who knows? Guess we would have to wait longer.

The Walking dead Season 3 Episode 8: Made to suffer Spoilers

Warning: Possible Spoilers

After watching the preview for the next episode of walking dead titled Made to Suffer, I could not help my self from searching the web for spoilers. This is what I gather so far.

1. Tyreese will be introduced in the mid season finale. Based on the comics, Tyreese will be Rick’s second in command. He is a former NFL Linebacker and is very good in killing zombies. He will have a relationship with Michonne and would help the Atlanta survivor’s clear the prison of walkers.

Chad Coleman as Tyreese

After watching the first seven episode of the walking dead’s third season, I thought the prison is Zombie free. After watching the preview Carl and the rest of the survivors would have some zombie problems. Would this mean that Tyreese will help them get rid of the walkers?

2. Michonne would find the Governor’s zombie daughter Penny. The governor is keeping Penny in cage somewhere in Woodbury. In the preview, there is a scene where the Governor is looking at the cage with a concerned look. Does this mean Michonne will kill Governor’s daughter?

3. Somebody in the Rick’s group will be killed. When T-bone and Lori were killed early in the third season, it made me wonder if the writers are done with killing the main characters. It makes me wonder what would top the surprised deaths. I guess it is more deaths. But I knew that they were running out of main characters to kill. Based on the web search, most of the sites that I read say that Oscar would meet his demise during the rescue.

4. Maggie and Glenn wouldn’t be saved just yet. Here is another spoiler that I have been reading all over the net. The writers wouldn’t give Rick’s group a break with their luck.

5. Andrea will choose a side between Rick and the Governor’s group. In the preview it seems that Andrea will be on the Governor’s side. But based on my search again and based on the comics, Andrea will leave Woodbury and join Rick’s group again.

I saw a few more speculations but these are the most common spoilers that I got. The mid season finale is definitely something that I am eager to watch. Although I hate reading spoilers, I just couldn’t stop myself in trying to know that the writers have cooked up with the next episode.

In the last episode the Governor seem very concerned and even scared of the Idea of what Rick and the other’s was able to accomplished when they cleared the zombies in the Prison. It would be great to see Rick and the Governor face off finally. But I don’t think that the governor would meet his end on this episode. Based on the comics, the governor would kill Tyrese. This might mean that this Arc would not end with this season or that Tyreese might not die just yet. Tyreese would be a very important piece in Rick’s group. I can’t wait to see how they will portray him in the series.

The Walking dead Season 3 Episode 7: When the dead come knocking

Don’t read if you haven’t watch the episode

As expected, the folks from Woodbury are eager to get information from Glenn and Maggie. Merle started his interrogation and ended violently beating Glenn. When Glenn still refuses to give out the location of the prison, Merle let a zombie lose while Glenn was still tied to the chair.

When that did not work the Governor stepped in and interrogating Maggie. He first asked or the better word for it is ordered Maggie to remove her shirt and then her Bra. The Governor had this look and his face that clearly tells us that he is a psycho. He threatened to rape her but did not push through with it.

Back in the prison, Rick and Carl saved Michonne from being eaten by walkers. They asked how she found the prison and told them that he saw Glenn and Maggie being taken by Merle. But she did not mentioned Merle’s name. Rick, Daryl, Oscar along with Michonne went to Woodbury but run into a group of walkers along the way. They seek refuge in a house in the middle of the woods but an unnamed man was there first. When the man went hysterical and was about to open the door, Michonne stabbed him. They have to throw the body to the walkers as a diversion for them to escape.

Back in Woodbury, the Governor brought Maggie to Glenn and threatened to kill him if they do not give the location of the other survivors. Maggie had no choice and spilled out the beans. With the new information that they acquire, the governor ordered his men to scout the prison and learn more about the survivors. He seems agitated after learning that it took only 10 people to clear the whole prison of walkers. The episode ended with Rick and the others scouting the gates to Woodsbury.

The preview for mid-season finale shows that Rick’s group while engage the people from Woodsbury. Daryl would have to decide where his loyalties lie whether it is with the group or with his brother. In the preview, it also shows that the survivors in the prison are in some sort of trouble. It seems like a walker problem. I am eager to know if the Woodbury people would have the chance to go to the prison while Rick and the others are pre-occupied in saving Maggie and Glenn. I also would like to know where Michonne’s loyalty lies. She definitely does not have any love for the Governor but it also doesn’t seem that she trust Rick and the others as well.  I can’t wait to watch the next episode. The two groups while finally collide. We know that the killing the main characters is not something new for the Walking dead. In the comics Rick would lose his arm would he lose it in the TV series adaptation as well? I guess we just have to stay tuned. What do you think of this week’s episode?

The Walking dead Season 3 Episode 6: Hounded

Don’t read if you haven’t watch the episode

Last episode Michonne was allowed to leave Woodbury. But apparently the Governor did not want her to stay alive. Merle and his men begun hunting Michonne and saw her work of art as Merle has called it a “biter gram”.  The meaning of the cryptic message sent “Go Back” with a zombie’s arm shape like a “G”, legs shape as a an “O”, and the back of a zombie which says “back”.

Merle was not intimidated and decided to continue the hunt. Out of nowhere Michonne dropped from a tree and started slashing and stabbing of Merle’s men leaving the third, Garguilo, scared out of his wits. Crowley was sliced in half while Tim was stab by Michonne and was used as a body shield. Merle was able to shot Michonne’s leg leaving her limping.

Back in the prison, Rick is still suffering from insanity although before the end of the episode he seems to break away from it. But before doing so, he was hallucinating and was able to have a conversation with the people who died along the way. Finally speaking to Lori, or the version of Lori in his mind, he was able to get his act together and hold his baby for the first time.

Back with Michonne, Merle continues the hunt and was able to injure Garguilo. Refusing to return back to Woodbury and lie about Michonne’s death. Merle put a bullet in Garguilo to avoid from hunting Michonne further. Michonne was able to escape and reached a part of town where she saw Glenn Maggie. Unfortunately Merle also found the two. Merle saw a window of opportunity and took Maggie hostage. He eventually persuaded the two to drive back to Woodbury.

Michonne was smart enough to find the prison and bring along the Milk that Glenn and Maggie found. To Michonne’s surprise, she was not attacked by a group of walkers since she is covered with zombie’s blood and guts.

Back in the prison, Daryl found Carol’s knife stuck in a walker’s neck. He found a room where he assumed that Carol’s is in. Before opening the door, he was psyching himself up with the possibility that Carol has turned and preparing himself to what he has to do. Fortunately Carol was just in a bad shape and pretty exhausted but still human.

The episode ended when Rick was in the courtyard with the baby and the others. He found Michonne standing on the other side of fence with unharmed by the walkers.

In the preview, Michonne would go on with her merry ways of killing the walkers. Glenn and Maggie would be interrogated by the folks in Woodbury and Michonne while provide Intel to Rick about their comrades whereabouts.

Good thing Rick seems to have put his act together and ready to take leadership of the group again. Carl is pretty in a messed up place as well still dealing with what he had to do with his mother. Glenn and Maggie are also in some serious trouble. Knowing what the Governor has done to outsiders, we could only guess that they will be dead if they give out information of their friends. Through all of this Andrea is still unaware and seems to have developed some sort of relationship with the Governor. The real question is hat will Rick and the others do to retrieve their comrade? What will Daryl’s reaction when he meets up with Merle? Guess we will have to see. A great episode compared to the last one. But we are still waiting for the episode that will top the

The Walking dead Season 3 Episode 5: Say the Word

Don’t read if you haven’t watch the episode

Rick was devastated after learning that his wife is dead. He went on a Zombie rampage killing every single walker that he cross path with. Glenn searched for Rick inside the Prison. He found him staring at wall completely disoriented. When Glenn approached him and tried to lead him back to the others but he became violent and went on with his killing spree.

Daryl has offered to make a run to get some milk for the baby. Maggie has offered to help and they went to town to search as well. With luck they were able to find some supplies for the baby but it is not enough to last for more than a few days.

In Woodbury, things are becoming more complicated. Michonne was slashed down several walkers that we were being kept by the Governor. Weird thing is she was smiling while killing the walkers. It seems like that is the only thing in the zombie apocalypse that makes her happy.

The Governor would still not allow Michonne to leave Woodbury. Michonne had to stick her katana to his neck to be given permission to leave Woodbury. When Michonne and Andrea was about to leave, Andrea had a change of heart and decided to stay. Michonne on the other hand left immediately.

The Governor’s true nature was somewhat revealed. He hosted a Gladiator type match with walkers surrounding the two fighters. Andrea was disgusted with the Idea of the Governor’s form of entertainment but ultimately stayed for the event.

Back in the prison, Daryl and Maggie returned safely. He acted as the surrogate father of the new baby while Rick was suffering with a temporary insanity. Rick is still inside the prison and continuing his Zombie killing when a phone rang. He answers the phone the episode ended.

Although the episode was not as intense as the previous episode, it is still a great one. The Woodbury Arc is starting to bore me though. Andrew Lincoln is doing a great job showing Rick’s grief. Michonne was allowed to leave but will be hunted as seen in the trailer of the next episode. This season of Walking dead is doing great and is the best season in the series so far

The walking dead Season 3 episode 4: Killer Within

Warning: Don't read if you haven't seen this episode

From the beginning of the season, we know that one of survivor from Atlanta would meet his or her demise. I always thought that it would be Hershel since he lost a lot of blood when he was bitten during the season premiere.

It started like a normal day for the Atlanta survivor. Hershel was able to take a walk using crutches. There was a glimmer of hope for the group and for Rick and Lori's marriage. And then hell broke lose. The locks that has kept the walkers from breaching the parts of the prison which are zombie free has been destroyed. They got themselves separated. Hershel was with Beth. Maggie was with Carl and Lori. T-dog and Carol was separated as well after T-dog got bitten. While Daryl, Glenn and Rick was together was on their way to the generators to turn off the power. Later they found out that Andrew is still alive and is responsible for cutting the locks.

It was really unexpected when T-dog died after getting cornered by a walker. He sacrificed himself to save Carol. Moments after Lori had to have a c-section because of the baby. Although the baby was save, there was nothing they could do for Lori. But there was another surprise. Carl had to put a bullet to her mother's head to prevent her from turning to a walker. Three tragedies in one episode. Who knows what else is in store for the rest of the season. Hershel is still not safe. Who knows what challenges they will face.

Kudos for Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes). His acting was superb. The last part of the episode when he broke down and cried., it was touching. Really great performance!. There had been a lot of revelation in this episode. I can't wait to see that else do they have in store for the rest of the season

The walking dead Season 3 episode 3: Walk with Me

Warning: Don't read if you haven't seen this episode

A new character is introduced in this episode. They call him governor, the leader of a settlement called Woodbury. He uses brutal methods to keep his community safe.

In the start of episode, a helicopter carrying 4 marines crash in a field where Andrea and Michonne was. A few moments after, the governor and his men arrived salvaging all the supplies that they could gather. Michonne and Andrea was hiding in bush and was found by Merle Dixon. Daryl's brother who was handcuffed and left for the dead back in Atlanta. He escaped but lost his arm.

They were then brought to Woodbury and were questioned about the Atlanta survivors. At the same time, the governor was questioning the pilot and was able to trick to give the location of his comrades.

They were able to locate them killed them brutally. Taking their vehicles and supplies, he told the rest of the people in Woodbury that they were late and the walkers got to them first.

It is revealed that he has a collection of human heads. The heads of two of Michonne's zombies is preserved in one of his aquarium along with the head of a the chopper pilot who they recently encountered.

It is interest to see how the arc would progress. I can't wait for the story to unfold. What do you think?

The walking dead Season 3 episode 2: Sick

Warning: Don't read if you haven't seen this episode

Rick and the others found 5 survivors inside the prison locked in the Cafeteria with enough food that help survive for 11 months. Things has gone bad right away with both groups exerting their right to whom the prison should belong to. Led by Tomas, the prisoners and Rick has agreed to clear off a cell block in exchange for half of the remaining food left in the cafeteria and the prisoners leaving Rick's group alone. But it seems that it would be difficult for the two groups to work together. As they were clearing the cell block for the prisoners, Big Tiny was scratched by one of the walkers. An argument between groups has emerged on how to deal with big tiny's predicament. The decision was made by Tomas as hr brutally slaughtered big tiny.
And to make things worst, Tomas tried to kill Rick twice. Knowing that it wouldn't be the last attempt, Rick decided to kill Tomas by chopping his head. Andrew, another prisoner then ran away. Rick immediately pursued. Andrew then made the mistake on going to a courtyard filled with Zombies. Rick then locked the door in which Andrew came from and left him to die.
Hershel is still fighting for his left after losing a lot of blood. Lori was able to save after resuscitating him after he stopped breathing. In a scene, it is revealed that Rick and Lori is still having issues with what Rick had to do to Shane last season. Shane tried to kill Rick to have Lori for himself.

Rick is losing his moral compass in order to survive he has killed several living humans so far since they were a threat to the groups survival. Shane included. We will find out more as it is becoming more harder to survive with have their conscience in tact.

The walking dead season 3 episode 1: Seed

Warning: Don't read if you haven't seen this episode

Months after the events from season two, Rick and the rest of the survivors are exhausted and have not been in one place for long period of time.

It seems like Lori is only a few weeks off from delivering the baby and the group is in desperate need of place to stay. Then they found a prison filled with walkers. But with a lot of effort, shooting and stabbing, they were able to kill a lot walkers and found a secure part of the prison. The next day they pushed further and was able to secure a cell block. But they had to push a little more further to find medicine and food for the group.

As they searching for supplies, Maggie and Glenn were separated from the group. When they have evaded the walkers, Rick and the others went back to look for their missing colleagues. Hershel was bitten by a walker and in an attempt to save his life, Rick had to cut off Hershel's leg with an axe. The episode ended with Daryl pointing his crossbow at some of survivors from the prison.

This is a great start for the walking dead. It has the making of another great season. I am curious on what is in store for fans this season. There a lot of new characters from the survivors of the prisons to the group that has taken Michonne and Andrea to place called Woodbury

The Walking Dead Season 2

I am very excited to see what is in store for The walking dead fans like me this coming season. I haven't got a chance to read the comics which the show is based but I think it would be better that way. I have spoiled a lot of TV series episode because I read the recap before watching the Episode. I am trying to do myself a favor and stay away from spoiler alerts.

Now back to the topic. The long wait is almost over. October 16 couldn't come any faster. I just can't wait to watch Season 2 of The Walking dead. So let's do a recap of the last season finale. Rick and the other survivors found peace and a safe haven from the world filled with Zombies. Dr. Edwin Jenner, a scientist for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), agreed to let them in before they became zombie dinner. Rick was relieved and thought the they are close in finding the answers and even a cure for the Zombies. But unfortunately, Dr. Jenner does not have the answer that they are looking for. In the end, Dr. Jenner decided to blow up the CDC building along with the survivors. Rick and others convinced him to open the doors but before they left. Dr. Jenner whispered something to his ear that somehow disturbed Rick. Whatever that is, we might find out soon enough.

From the Trailer, it seems that the group would be splitting up. Survival instinct is kicking in and everyone seems to be teaming up with someone. The survivors seems to be loosing hope and there is no indication that they will have it easy this coming season. I would like to know what happened to Morgan and Duane Jones. They help Rick during the first episode. There are still a lot of questions that needs to be answered. We just have to wait until October 16.

The Walking Dead Pilot: Days Gone Bye

If you're tired of the current trend on Vampire movies or TV series and looking for an alternative, The Walking Dead is a good show to check out. The series is based one of the top-selling comics released by Image. It tells the story of survival in a Post-apocalyptic world filled with Zombies.

Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes woke in a hospital bed after being confined due to a gunshot wound. The flower that his partner brought when he visited earlier was already withered. After several attempts to call for help, he made his way outside his room. There hospital seems abandoned and he came across a room that says "Don't Open Dead Inside". When he got out of the hospital, he saw hundred of bodies covered in sheets.

He then went to his house with the hope of finding his wife Lori and his son Carl. But before getting to his house he encountered a decaying body of a woman who’s missing the lower part of her body and was crawling towards him. He then escaped using a bicycle lying nearby.

When Rick reached his house, it was already abandoned. Lori and Carl was nowhere to be found. Rick was then hit by a shovel by a boy named Duane. His father Morgan has just shot a zombie walking towards Rick. But Morgan and Duane were worried seeing Rick's injuries and wanted to make sure that he wasn't bitten.

Later that night, a group of zombies were walking around near the house that they were hiding in. Morgan's lapse of judgment of using a gun to save Rick has put them on risk. Fortunately, the zombies never found out where they were hiding. The next day, they visited Rick's house again. They then went to the Police station and got the things they could use to survive. Rick gave Morgan a Walkie-talkie so that they could communicate in case they need to meet up.

They then went their own ways. Rick went to Atlanta since Duane told him that there was a refugee camp that offers protection and food. Duane and Morgan went back to the house. On his way to Atlanta, Rick was trying to communicate with other survivors. A group has caught his transmission but failed to warn him that Atlanta was filled with the walking dead. He ran out of gas and went to a nearby house to ask for Gas. Unfortunately there was none instead there was a horse.

He traveled to Atlanta and soon was surrounded with a hundred of zombies. He was trapped and was thrown off his horse. The walkers immediately started feeding on the horse while Rick started crawl underneath a Tank. After shooting several walkers, it seems lack it was the end for him. He was about to shoot himself when he saw an open hatch underneath a tank. He then he heard a voice from the radio that is addressing him. The episode ended with Rick stuck in the tank while zombies were trying to get inside. Other zombies were still feeding on the horse.

I can't wait for the next episode. Though I think there were dull moments in the Pilot episode. It wasn't really scary but interesting enough to keep watching. I would like to thank AMCTV blog for the photos. The Cast comprises of familiar faces from other TV series. Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori Grimes) played Sarah Tancredi from Prison Break. Lennie James (Morgan) played Robert Hawkins from Jericho. Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) was part of the hit movie Love Actually
