This Assets is an eight part miniseries that premiered on January 2, 2014 on ABC. This is the story of Aldrich Ames, considered as one of the most dangerous traitors in the United States. The story is set during the Cold War Era between the United States and the Soviet Union.

Both countries were fighting a silent spy war and were trying to encourage intelligence officers to change allegiance. Information is the key to winning the war and the Soviet Union got an advantage. One of the CIA's counter intelligence operative Aldrich Ames was selling information to the Soviet Union. The information that he sold cause the lives of at least 10 Soviet Intelligence officers who were spying for the United States. The show is based on the book Circle of Treason: A CIA Account of Traitor Aldrich Ames and the Men He Betrayed by retired CIA officers Sandra Grimes and Jeanne Vertefeuille.

I really enjoyed watching the Pilot episode. It reminds me of the show called The Americans. They are both set during the Cold war era. The thing that I enjoy the most about this shows is that spy craft are basic. The don't use fancy gadget in their work. Everything is more risky. It seems more believable. Unlike other action shows were the nowadays were the Protoganist seems to be bullet proof or seems to know the right martial arts to defeat his opponents. Since technology is not that advanced during that time, the show focus more on how they actually do the spying.

This is definitely a great show to watch. What are your thoughts on The Assets Pilot 

I am not into playing games with my smartphone but there was this one game that a friend was playing that got me really intrigued. He was playing this game called Clumsy Ninja. At first I thought I would find boring and would not be interested with the game but after a few minutes of playing it I got hooked. The game is funny and it was light. Great for playing during my 1 hour break. The only problem is that it is available in IOS.

I tried searching for it in Google Play but it was not available. I was also looking for a Clumsy Ninja Apk download but all on the sites that I found doesn't have an active download link. I saw that it was also called Gauche Ninja. But all the links for Gauje Ninja APK download was all busted as well.

I hope they do make an android version of this game. If anyone is aware of an active link for Clumsy Ninja android version download, please let me know. 

Saturday 10 PM. 20 hours before the wedding

After their Bus broke down on the way to Farhampton, Marshall thought that it would be an easy feat to walk all the way to Farhampton. But he was wrong. Fortunately the mother was passing by and offered them a lift. That's how Marshall met the mother.

Back in the Farhampton Inn, a mysterious guest approached Lily and Robin with the purpose of getting their trust and information that could ruin their friendship. The guest also approached Barney and Ted. He first told Robin that Lily was planning to ruin the wedding by focusing all the attention to Lily using Marshall's decision to take the judgeship. The guest also revealed to Barney that Ted is planning to leave for Chicago a day after the wedding which upsets Barney.



The mother and Marshall are talking on their way back to Farhampton. She told him that she met Lily was upset about Marshall's decision. She also revealed that she was took her bandmate's van in revenge for trying to get kicked out from the band that she started.

It is then revealed that the mysterious guest is Darren, the mother's band mate. She told Marshall that Darren always ruins friendship during weddings. Marshall convinced the mother to stand up for herself which she agrees to in the end.

In an attempt to mend his friendship with Barney, Ted stole a 30 year old Glen Mckenna from storage. Robin then made a Marshpillow for Lily to vent out her frustration. Barney and Ted made up and Barney realized that it would be hard for Ted to move on now that only Robin, Ted and him would stay in New York since Marshall and Lily would be moving to Italy for a year. While Lily was hitting Marshpillow, Marshall arrived with Marvin. When Lily saw them she opted to put their dispute on "pause".



Now that the gang are all back together again, they celebrated by drinking the Glen Mckenna that Ted stole. Back in the Farhampton Inn bar, the mother is considering confronting Darren about her band but did not have enough courage to face him.  While the Ted was pouring the Glen Mckenna, Darren bumped to Ted making him drop the bottle. Ted then punched Darren and knocked him out.

Darren was furious being punched by Ted. He told him that he was punched by the best man for no reason and asked the bartender for some ice. Darren saw the mother laughing and told her that she could have her band back. He quits the band and told them that he would be returning to band called the New Guns and Roses.



The mother then bought Ted a double of the finest liquor that they have. After being given his drink, Ted asked if it was from anyone from the gang. He also asked what he what was drinking. The bartender revealed that it was a Glen Mckeena 35 years. They asked him why he didn't tell them that they had that in Farhampton, the bartender simply replied that they didn't asked.

Marshall was apologizing to Barney for being late and was being obnoxious about it. Marshall said that he has a special gift but prefers to give it to him after the wedding photos. Barney was persistent. Marshall revealed that it was the final slap that he won from Barney years back.

Great episode. As I have thought previously another Glen Mckenna bottle would be broken before the season ends. It is hard to the calling the Ted's future wife the mother. I hope they reveal her name soon. So everyone has met the mother except for Robin and Ted. We should expect her to meet Robin before she meets Ted. Marshall will finally use the final slap. That is something to look forward to.

The camera lenses doesn't have to be attached to the smartphone to operate. Although Sony has included a adjustable clip for easier use. Get ready to take your selfie to the next level.  It is has it's own stand alone shutter buttons and can be operated independently without using any smartphone. It is also equipped with Micro SD slot for storing your photos.

 Since I first heard about the bluetooth camera lenses I was pretty excited. I have wanted to invest in a camera but I don't want to spend that much in a DSLR camera. Besides I am just starting to learn photography and buying a DSLR camera is not yet a priority. This is also a great because I am not satisfied with the built in 8 MP camera in my Alcatel One touch Idol. The front camera is also any issue. The front camera is not suitable for video chat if the room that you are in has poor lighting. These lenses might be the solution.

The QX100 is now selling at P23,499 wike the QX10 is marked at P10,999 in the Philippines. What are your thoughts on the Sony Bluetooth Camera Lens?

Saturday 8 PM. 22 hours before the wedding

The episode begins with Barney is handcuffed to Pipe in a security office for causing some disturbance in a laser tag arena. Robin is with Barney and was furious since their rehearsal dinner has started 10 minutes earlier in the Farhampton Inn. Barney was begging the guard to push the button on a novelty toy but was not able to since Robin objected.

A few months back, Robin told the gang about the idea of having the wedding in Canada. Queue Canada jokes. Barney had an idea of having a rehearsal dinner in a laser tag arena. Everyone shut down the Idea but Barney wasn't going to let it drop so easily. As a wedding gift, Ted wanted to play the piano during the wedding which was refused by Barney and Robin until Ted told them that he will wear a Liberace will doing it.


Back in Farhampton bar, Barney believes that Robin is planning to surprise him by having the rehearsal dinner at the Laser tag arena. He believes that the dinner in Farhampton is fake. When the ice dispenser has broken down, Barney insisted of getting the ice himself. Despite promising to Robin that he will not leave the Farhampton Inn, he went  to the shop near the laser tag arena to get some ice.




Robin then receives a phone call informing him that Barney has been detained for causing some disturbance and insisted that there is a surprise rehearsal dinner for him in the arena. In the office, Barney told Robin that in the future it would be possible for him to lie to her if it means an amazing surprise. Barney finally pressed the button which lifted up the walls of the security office. Robin and Barney was in the middle of the skating rink. Barney told her that since they couldn't have the wedding in Canada, he prepared a Canadian-themed wedding rehearsal dinner for her. Ted then revealed to Lily that he has been taking skating lessons in the last few months. The episode ended with Robin thanking Barney for the surprise

No Marshall and Marvin in this episode. That means he missed yet another important moment in the Wedding weekend. Barney has made a great surprise we have to give kudos for making the episode not too cheesy but not to boring at the same time.

With a only few more episodes left n the series, I wish that they put the mother in the spotlight more. Since it took nine seasons for Ted and the mother to meet, I hope the wait for fans like me would be worth it.
