The Blacklist Season 1 Episode 2: The Freelancer

A dangerous assassins known as The Freelancer is out to kill Floriana Campo, a famous advocate on ending human and sex trafficking. The Freelancer disguised his assassinations as accidents. He has blew up planes, derailed trains and even burned down a whole building just to kill a single target Collateral Damage is not an issue for this guy and the FBI doesn't  even know that he existed until Reddington told them.

Red has refused to help further until all his demands are met starting with the Immunity agreement and the security details of his own choice. The Department of Justice Official Diane Fowler refused to have any agreement with Redinggton, Finally the Department of Justice gave in but insisted that CIA agent Meera Malik be added to Red's security detail. In Reddington's part, he choose for his security detail.

Eventually the Freelancer was caught and confessed that it was Red who hired him to kill Campo. It is revealed that Campo is not the great advocate that she is known for. She is doing the opposite of what she claims to do. Red poison her let her die.

Also in this Episode, Elizabeth Keen has decided not to confront her husband about the box that she found.
She pick up him from the hospital after being discharged.

Alright. The Freelancer is a good episode. I am still interested with the show. Elizabeth Keen is starting to grow on me. Here are my thoughts on the episode. I find it weird that the professional assassins easily gave the name of Red when asked who ordered the hit. Not unless it is really Red's intention to let the Authorities know that he ordered the hit. Was the freelancer really guiltyof  being a mass murderer? He doesn't really look smart enough to pull off his assassination. Or was everything just a big Reddington setup to poison Campo? We will just have to wait and see. What are your thougths?
