Upcoming Movie: Furious 7


The 7th and latest Fast and Furious Installment is coming to the big screen this April 2015. After killing the villain in the last movie, Owen Shaw, his brother Ian Shaw played by Jason Tatham is out for revenge. After claiming his first victim, Han, Ian calls Toretto to tells him that he is coming for him.

After learning of Han's death, Toretto and the crew sets out to find Ian before he finds them.

Upcoming Movie: Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron


The sequel to highly successful 2012 Marvel Avengers movie is showing this April 2015. Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hulk, Hawkeye and Black Widow must joins forces again to face a foe created by Tony Stark.

2015 is here and movie lovers are eager to watch upcoming movies this year. Here is a list of some of the most anticipated movies of the Year

Avengers: Age of Ultron

Avengers fans rejoice for the long wait is nearly over. The second installment and and the follow up to the epic 2012 Marvel Avengers is coming on the big screen on April 2015. 




Furious 7 

Also showing on April is the 7th Installment from the Fast and the Furious franchise. Owen Shaw's big brother played by Jason Statham is out for vengeance. The crew must work together against a much dangerous foe. 



Terminator Genesys

Arnold is back! Reprising his Titular role in this upcoming Terminator movie, Arnold plays an aged T-800 and a new version T-800. Skynet is in the brink of defeat against the human resistance. They send terminators to kill Sarah Connor, the mother of John Connor leader of resistance in the future. John then sends Kyle Reese to protect Sarah but the past has changed. Sarah has been orphaned since 8 years and was raised by an age version of Arnold's T-800

This is How I met your mother should have ended



There were mixed reactions when how I met your mother ended. Most people, myself included, thought that Ted shouldn't have stolen the blue french horn to try to woo  Robin. The story should have ended with the mother.

After years of anticipation and a last season of building the mother, it was a great injustice to the fans for Ted to end where he started nine years ago which is with Robin. Well maybe it's just me. I just saw this clip in youtube about that the Alternate ending of how I met your mother. I think I prefer this was shown when the show ended. Check out the clip and tell me your thoughts

Star Wars: Commander





The game has a lot similarities with COC. You have your droids which is the equivalent to builders. Just like COC you need droids to make and upgrade buildings. You would also need gold and alloy for the upgrades.



Main difference is that you could sides. It is either you join the rebel alliance or align yourself with the empire. Choose wisely since you can't switch sides unless you restart the game.





They have a squad the equivalent of clan in COC. But I yet have to experience a Commander "clan war". I have join a squad but haven't been part of one. I am actually not sure if there is one.
I'll you posted as soon as I learn more about the game.

New Series: Z Nation



If you are looking for an alternative view on the Zombie Apocalypse, Z Nation might be the show for you. Alternative to Walking dead that is. It is like a comedic version of the Walking dead without the drama. It is similar to Zombieland. Although the show is not trying to be too funny and not too serious at the same time. If the Zombieland TV series took off, that would be my alternative Zombie Apocalypse. But unfortunately it the show did not get pass the Pilot episode.

The show is very different from other Zombie theme show. The zombies, for some reason, doesn't seem to be as mindless as other zombies. In the show zombies were running, knows who to play dead and set a trap for their umm. . . lunch and they seem to be capable of getting stone. Another difference is that in the show there seems to be hope for the human race. An inmate was injected with an experimental drug and after being bitten severely, he did not turn. The show revolves around the idea of getting that inmate to a CDC facility to produce a vaccine for the Zombie virus.

I'll give this new show a try. Currently I find Z nation quite entertaining.

Rick Riordan's Latest Book The Blood of Olympus now released


The Blood of Olympus is the Fifth and final book in Heroes of Olympus series written by Rick Riordan. The book follows the story of 7 demigods who are trying to stop Gaea awakening. Gaea plans to have her revenge against the Gods of Olympus who are currently weaken. Percy along with Jason, Annabeth, Leo Piper, Frank and Hazel who attempt to defeat Gaea while Nico, Coach Hedge and Reyna tries to bring the statue of Athena Parthenos to Camp Half-Blood to prevent the Greek and Roman Demigods to go to war against each other.

Pilipinas Gilas loses to Argentina


Who would have thought a few years back that the Philippines would be able to compete in the FIBA Basketball world cup? Everyone thought that it would take the Philippines a few more years to qualify. But they surprise everyone. For the first time in nearly 4 decades, the Philippines would be able to compete against the top basketball teams around the world. 

When they qualified last year everyone thought they Philippines would be a push over. But we were proven wrong again. Then number 34 seed Philippines faced the world's number 3 Argentina. Argentina has the advantage in size and experience. We thought it would be blow out. We were proven wrong yet again. 

Philippines made sure that they wouldn't go down fighting. The Philippines got a lead as high as 10 points during the first half of the game.In was three beyond the arc for both teams. De Ocampo and Alapag had the most 3 points shot for Gilas. Norwood had a great performance that night. The highlight of his performance for the that game was 2 slam dunk in the face of NBA superstar Luis Escola. 

A few seconds left in the game and the score was 83 to 81 in favor of Argentina. Castro tried to tie the game or get the lead with a three point shot. However he failed to release the ball and was call for the traveling. In the end the Philippines fell short. Final score was 85 to 81 favoring Argentina.

Despite not having won any games in the FIBA Basketball world cup this year, I am very impressed with Philippines' performance. Considering it has been nearly 4 decades since the Philippines last qualified they are doing quite well. What I mean is that I was expecting that could not go head to head with bigger teams in FIBA. But it hasn't been a walk in the park for the opposing team. Crotia only won by 3 points, Greece by 12 points and today Philippines lost by 4 points. That something to be proud of. I was honestly expecting Philippines to lose by 20 or more points each game but I am dead wrong.
Next they face Puerto Rico. I hope they do get their 1st win against Puerto rico

A selfie might land you in Jail


This is one of the weirdest news that I have heard all week. Taking a selfie may soon land you in jail if you are not careful. The house bill no. 4807 or anti-selfie bill was authored by Rep. Rufus Rodriguez of the 2nd District of Cagayan de Oro. Currently it is on its's second hearing in the House of Representative but is currently being greatly oppose by both majority and minority members of Congress. 

 Why wouldn't they oppose it and what was the author thinking when he wrote the bill? Almost everyone has taken a selfie and banning it would be a sure violation of freedom of expression.

The bill is pretty vague and it is very unclear what would constitute an unlawful selfie. Why would they even consider this bill anyway?
