Fix Square

They have a squad the equivalent of clan in COC. But I yet have to experience a Commander "clan war". I have join a squad but haven't been part of one. I am actually not sure if there is one.

The Blood of Olympus is the Fifth and final book in Heroes of Olympus series written by Rick Riordan. The book follows the story of 7 demigods who are trying to stop Gaea awakening. Gaea plans to have her revenge against the Gods of Olympus who are currently weaken. Percy along with Jason, Annabeth, Leo Piper, Frank and Hazel who attempt to defeat Gaea while Nico, Coach Hedge and Reyna tries to bring the statue of Athena Parthenos to Camp Half-Blood to prevent the Greek and Roman Demigods to go to war against each other. 

Who would have thought a few years back that the Philippines would be able to compete in the FIBA Basketball world cup? Everyone thought that it would take the Philippines a few more years to qualify. But they surprise everyone. For the first time in nearly 4 decades, the Philippines would be able to compete against the top basketball teams around the world. 

When they qualified last year everyone thought they Philippines would be a push over. But we were proven wrong again. Then number 34 seed Philippines faced the world's number 3 Argentina. Argentina has the advantage in size and experience. We thought it would be blow out. We were proven wrong yet again. 

Philippines made sure that they wouldn't go down fighting. The Philippines got a lead as high as 10 points during the first half of the game.In was three beyond the arc for both teams. De Ocampo and Alapag had the most 3 points shot for Gilas. Norwood had a great performance that night. The highlight of his performance for the that game was 2 slam dunk in the face of NBA superstar Luis Escola. 

A few seconds left in the game and the score was 83 to 81 in favor of Argentina. Castro tried to tie the game or get the lead with a three point shot. However he failed to release the ball and was call for the traveling. In the end the Philippines fell short. Final score was 85 to 81 favoring Argentina.

Despite not having won any games in the FIBA Basketball world cup this year, I am very impressed with Philippines' performance. Considering it has been nearly 4 decades since the Philippines last qualified they are doing quite well. What I mean is that I was expecting that could not go head to head with bigger teams in FIBA. But it hasn't been a walk in the park for the opposing team. Crotia only won by 3 points, Greece by 12 points and today Philippines lost by 4 points. That something to be proud of. I was honestly expecting Philippines to lose by 20 or more points each game but I am dead wrong.

Next they face Puerto Rico. I hope they do get their 1st win against Puerto rico

The show is based on the 2010 film Legion starring Paul Bettany as the Archangel Michael. The Angels of heaven has come to earth and plans to exterminate the human race. The Archangel Michael has sided with human to save a baby who is prophesied to save the humans. 

Leading the Angels that plans to exterminate the human race is Gabriel. He was able to convince the lower angels to side with him. But unlike Gabriel and Michael, the lower angels has to possessed a human body to stay on earth.

The baby is now grown up. Alex Lannon is now a Sergeant serving under the Archangel Corps. His father Jeep has left him when he was young trying to decipher the tattoos that he will eventually pass on to Alex when he is ready. Jeep returns to Vega after disappearing for fourteen years. He tells Michael that Gabriel is still alive and is massing an army to finally annihilate the human race.

Shortly after his return, he was fatally stab by a higher angel disguised as a human child. Before dying, Jeep passed on the Tattoos to Alex. The first message that he was able to decipher says "Beware of those closest to you". It is revealed that David Whele's son William is enleague with the Archangel Gabriel.

When I first heard of the series I wasn't really excited. The film Legion kinda sucks after all. But I gave it a try and was really interested in watching the next few episodes. I think the show still has a lot of mystery for the viewers. I just hope the show stays on air. You know how hard for new shows to get pass the first season. Fingers crossed!
