Imagine a world without electricity. That means all the luxury and comfort that the technology has given is gone. Travel would be difficult even impossible if your crossing continents. The only travel available would be by land using horses, carriages and Steam trains. Since there is no electricity, there is now way to get connect using mobiles phones, radio or the internet

 15 years after a blackout that has turn off all the world's electricity, governments has fallen. Groups were formed to get the upper hand. Some groups are trying to restore the old United States and but has been unsuccessful suppress by bigger Militia groups.

My thoughts about the series. We have seen a lot TV series based on a post-apocalyptic theme. Most of them were successful . One series the comes to mind is Jericho. The show is about the chaos that a nuclear war has caused the United States. Like Revolution, groups or States where fighting over the leadership of the United States. 

Don't get me wrong, I love show that are post-apocalyptic theme. However, I am not sure if the ratings would be fair to revolution. I guess we will have to wait and see
